Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: He was sent to the European area on February 15, 1945. He had been previously reported as missing in action and was later determined to have been killed in action. He died from shell fragment wounds received in battle near Wissen, Germany. Buried in Plot KK, row 9, grave 204 in Margraten Cemetery in the Netherlands.

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: He was lost at sea in an accidental explosion on his ship. A memorial service was held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on 10-28-1945. Memorial marker at Ft. McKinley, Manila, PI.

Richard Dicky Haigler

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Took part in the capture of Nurnberg and Munich and was killed near Schweinfurt. Memorial service held at Central Avenue Baptist Church on 6-10-45. Buried in a military cemetery in Western Germany.

Eddie Joe Hall, Jr.

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: He was wounded in Vossack, Germany on 12-1-1944. He was killed in action at a Ruhr River crossing. A memorial service was held at the Disabled Veterans Convention in Chicago on Oct. 19, 1945. A memorial service was held at the Duncan Memorial Methodist Church in Nov. 1945 and at the First Baptist Church on July 15, 1946.
