Freedom Park

Freedom Park is located off of East Boulevard in Myers Park. It opened in 1948. This is part of an outdoor theater that was a special project of the Charlotte's Lion Club. It has since been redesigned. Physical Description: 3x5 Publisher: Dexter Press

Charlotte Auditorium

With a seating capacity of 1,800 and beautiful architectural and decorative features, it remained popular entertaintment venue for many years. Today part of the theatre still stands and efforts are underway to restore the structure to its initial glory.
