Last Street Car

Dignitaries with a streetcar and one of the buses that would replace streetcars on the last day the streetcars went through Charlotte in May 1938.

Opening of Lynx Gold Line

 
In 2015 Charlotte brought back the streetcar after 77 years. Trailing streamers, it pulled into the Transit Center on its first official run.
