Commercial National Bank & American Trust Company Buildings

The Commercial National Bank and American Trust Company Building were located in the 200 block of South Tryon Street. On the site of the bank building was the home where Confederate President Jefferson Davis stayed Charlotte from April 18 to the 25th. Trust Building

The Trust Building on South Tryon Street housed the Charlotte Opera House (1902-1922) on the first floor.
