Notes: A native of Mecklenburg, Kendrick moved to Connecticut in September, 1929. He served as the Lieutenant. Governor of Connecticut, and was the Speaker of the House in the Connecticut State Legislature from 1854-56. Kendrick was a candidate for Governor in 1854, but lost by one vote.
