Museum Looking South & East

Standing along the south wall of the museum is another mannequin [2] in a different World War I uniform [3]. On the wall is a map of Camp Greene and a plaque describing how Charlotte's city fathers went to great lengths to compete with Wilmington and Fayetteville, North Carolina as well as Athens, Georgia to acquire a military camp.

In the southeast corner of the museum [4] is a settee in front of the window. This settee is on loan from the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte.
