Biographical Notes: 
Served with Charlotte's Brenizer Unit. She described how hard the work was in France in a newspaper story in The Charlotte Observer dated 3/11/1919. Each nurse cared for between 40 - 50 wounded patients at a time. She served with Blanche Leonard, Sarah Elizabeth Lowe, and Margaret White, nurses who were assigned to care for American and French soldiers and German prisoners.
