Biographical Notes: 
Stationed at Camp Greene in June, 1918, he was involved in the stock car race at the fairgrounds. He began racing in 1909 and held the record for hill climbing and dirt track contets. He participated in the Vanderbilt Cup and races in Chicago prior to coming to Camp Greene.
