Biographical Notes: 
According to The Charlotte News on 12/15/1942, p. 12, he married and lived at 1830 Allen St. in Charlotte . His sons, Wilbur, Vernon and Jack were all serving in the Navy during WW II. Christopher Jack was working for The Charlotte News as a linotype operator. Pridgen is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
