Biographical Notes: 
Killed when the jitney he was reading in was hit by a street car near Minneapolis in about October 1918. He lived at Mrs. A. P. Lynch's on N. Church St. prior to entering the service. He had heavily insured his life for the benefit of his fiancee, a prominent Virginia girl. They had planned to settle in Charlotte after the war.
