Buried at Forest Lawn.His discharge papers give his description as a farmer, with grey eyes and brown hair, fair complexion and 6'1' in height. His folder contains a copy of a 3 day pass for Paris. He applied for a disability allowance (undated) because he was out of work and had been gassed in action at Somme Diecie Nov. 9-11, 1918. He was assigned to the USS Black Arrow for the transatlantic crossing.
