Biographical Notes:
He made a report to the C. O. of the 16th F. A. on the sanitary conditions at Camp Greene on 12/18/1918. He reported men had not hd a bath for up to two weeks, winter clothing had not arrived and many men were still wearing cottons, as well as repaired or new shoes were needed. Numbers of men sick in quarters and in the hospital were rising, partly due to the weather and poor conditions at camp.
