Biographical Notes: 
Dr. King served in as a Captain in the Spanish American War, as well as WW I. He practiced medicine in Charlotte for 50 years and was instrumental in the formation of the Mecklenburg County Medical Society. He died suddenly of a heart attack at his home on Queens Rd. Funeral services were held at 1st Presbyterian Church and is buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
