His Army serial number was 2,264,200, and he was inducted at Glendive, Montana. He was buried on 5/1/1918 in the 'Soldier's Lot' at Elmwood Cemetery by the War Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary because his family did not claim his body. They placed a permanent stone of Georgia marble on 5/30/1928. He was 24 years old and from Marsh, Montana.
