Biographical Notes: 
He wrote a letter to The Charlotte Observer complimenting the southern hospitality that has been offered his sons, Bernard and Fred. He was an ex-sergeant of Troop A, Washington Cavalry National Guard. His son's compoany was formed from Troop A, Washington Calvary. Bernard was in the Camp Green Base Hospital with pneumonia.
