Biographical Notes: 
He served in World War I as a soldier. In WWII he was a Navy chaplain serving aboard the USS Rudyard bay.. While he was principal of Indian Trail HS, he hired a teacher named Lottie Stone. They were married a year later. Funeral at Commonwealth United Methodist Church.
