Biographical Notes: 
He moved to Charlotte as a boy. His high school annual states that he likes 'argufying' and dreams of being a big lawyer. He was 5'9' and 173 lbs. He was involved in debate, the annual and student government.He appears in the city draft roll, but these draft cards have not survived. He left Charlotte in about 1929 and lived in Chicago, Buffalo, and Detroit before moving to New Jersey in about 1939.He was killed in an automobile accident. He was on his way home when his car skidded into a tree beside the ice-covered Long Hill Road.
