Biographical Notes: 
He was a church organist and minister of music at numerous Charlotte churches including: Tryon Street (1st) Methodist, 1st Baptist, 2nd Presbyterian, Dilworth Methodist, Myers Park Methodist, St. Andrews Episcopal and Paw Creek Presbyterian Church. His funeral was held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
