He was in Co. 13, Recruit Camp 4. He married his first wife, Lexie Kinser, on 5/11/1918 in Blount Co., TN. They had a daughter, Juanita Ruth. Lexie died on 6/8/1920 in Blount Co. Charles married Alice Teffeteller on 9/15/1923 in Blount Co., TN. She died 6/14/1962 in the same county.He was buried in Union Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Blount Co., TN, on 3/9/1971. Both wives and his daughter are buried with Milligan.
