Biographical Notes: 
Attached to the detail from the 15th Co. to load sand from the pits at the river into trucks for camp roads, he and others went swimming on a break. It was assumed he gor cramps and drowned. He had previoulsy been part of Bat. A, Field Artillery at Camp Sherman. He was assigned to the Motor Mechanics on 4/18/1918.
