Biographical Notes: 
The warning he gave about a fire that destroyed the Hostess House at Camp Greene saved the lives of three Young Women's Christian Association secretaries. Quigg was on guard duty nearby when the fire occurred. The building burned after only being formally opened for one month. The loss was valued at $30,000.
