Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Killed in a training accident in Texas. While waiting on the runway to take off, another airplane stalled and fell on top of his. Memorial service held at First Presbyterian Church on Aug 15, 1945. Military funeral at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Spartanburg on December 3, 1943.
