Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: He was wounded on January 18, and he returned to duty after his recovery. He had previously been reported missing in action. He was killed instantly while his unit was under artillery fire from the enemy. He was buried at the American Cemetery at Henri Chapelle, Belgium.
