Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: He was a veteran of the Sicilian and Italian campaigns and was mentioned in Associated Press dispatches, which The Alumni Review cited as one of the airborne soldiers who were invaluable in preventing German reinforcements from interfering with our forces during the action at Normandy. He received the Presidential Unit Citation for his services at Normandy beachhead. A later newspaper story told of Sgt. Reynolds service during the operations in Holland. He was killed in action at the Battle of the Bulge. They also list his birth year as 1913. He had completed 27 missions at the time of his death. Memorial services were held at St. Johns Baptist Church on March 25, 1945. There is a memorial marker at Henri Chapelle, Belgium.
