Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: After downing a German Locke-Wulf, he went back in search of his wing man. His plane was hit and he bailed out. He became entangled in his chute and was found beside his plane at Perepont, France. Memorial marker at Brittany, France. Memorial service held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at Mt. Pleasant, NC on July 30.
