He served as an Inspector for Camp Greene beginning on 7/15/1918, as well as had the title of Camp Judge Advocate on 5/13/1918. He was relieved of the job as Camp Judge Advocate on 6/4/1918, but he was given the job again on 10/30/1918.He became the Camp Police Officer on 8/18/1918.He served on a committee to determine the extent of damage caused by rains at the Rifle Range near the Catawba River. The committee's duties included making recommendations for the advisability for repairs and rebuilding of the Rifle Range.He was relieved of his job as Camp Inspector on 3/3/1919.
