J.M. Haralson and Keely M. Grice Service Station No. 2 was located on the northwest corner of Morehead and Mint Streets in the 1920s.

Temple Israel

Temple Israel was formed in 1916. The first building was on W. 7th Street. In 1955, the synagogue moved to 1014 Dilworth Road. Rural Hill (Outbuilding)

Charlotte Sanitarium

This picture of the Charlotte Sanitarium was copied from a 1909 postcard. The Charlotte Sanitarium operated from 1907 to 1942. This 100 room, privately owned hospital was located on the southeast corner of Seventh and Church Streets. The building was later used for offices before being demolished in the mid-1950s.
