Looking Back At Charlotte

Welcome to our time-travel website for Charlotte, North Carolina during the early 1900s. Discover what life was like over one hundred years ago. Click on the map below, and you will see that the city limits only included four wards. Uptown Charlotte has changed tremendously over the past century. The  beautiful two-story houses and stunning buildings that lined many of the streets are long since gone. Now when you visit Uptown, you will be able to imagine how the city once looked.
