Notes: A prominent and wealthy citizen of Ansonville, he had been suffering from the grip for some time. He told his brother he was going out on the porch for wood, concealing his pistol under a shawl. In a few minutes his brother was startled by the report and rushed out, finding Little lying on the porch. He expired almost instantly of a shot through the heart.
