Six months later while at the Broadway Theater in uptown Charlotte, she saw a quick glance of him in a foxhole on Iwo Jima. The manager of the Broadway, E. J. Norman, snipped the 2 negatives from the reel of film and had enlargements made for Mrs. Taylor. She wanted them for her young daughter, who had never seen her father.
