Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: He went overseas in February of 1943, without being able to go back home after training. He died from wounds received in action during the second day of fighting on Guam. He was wounded by enemy rifle fire. He was evacuated and died aboard ship. He was buried at Ennylabegan Island, Kwajalein, Marshall Island on 7-31-1944.
