Biographical Notes:
Although she was not in the military, she followed her husband, Sgt. Fred Anderson, from her home in Suisun, California. When he was called into service, she left her home and originally got a job as a clerk at the court martial court in the 3rd Div. at Camp Greene in January 1918. She remained there until the 3rd Division left for overseas in March 1918. At that time, she became the stenographer at the nurses' home at Camp Greene. It is believed that her husband was wounded and his biographical sketch is under Fredrick E. Anderson.
