Death Notices

Jonathan Wilmarth

Notes: Died of the bilious fever at his residence near Charlotte. He was a partner in the jewelry concern of Messrs. Wilmarth, Moffat and Curtis of New York, and came to Carolina during the last winter to superintend the Franklin Gold Mining Company operation. His constitution was more than commonly vigorous and perhaps confiding in its strength he neglected precautions esteemed prudent in a southern climate.
