Turn of the 21st Century

These photographs from the year 2000 show some aspects of Mecklenburg County still in place, some no longer in existence, some new projects under construction, and some in their prime. The differences, small or large, tell part of our city and county's story and the enormous growth of this region at the turn of the 21st century.
