1915 Children's Annex

The 1903 Carnegie Library needed more space by 1915 when Andrew Carnegie was approached
once more for funding. His gift of $15,000 enabled the library to build an
annex at the back of the building. The annex housed the Children's Department and
a small meeting room. This photograph was taken outside the Annex in 1938
and documents a trip to the library by a group of school children.
